Welcome to KitchenOps. This Privacy Policy explains how Saazify (“KitchenOps“, “Company“, “we“, “us“, or “our“) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you visit kitchenops.tech (the “Website“) or use the KitchenOps restaurant management platform, including our POS, Kitchen Display System, Delivery, Orders, Tables & Dining, Reservations, Waitlist, Billing & GST, Customers (CRM), Inventory, Promotions, Users & Roles, Menu Management, and Reports & Analytics modules (collectively, the “Services“).
By accessing the Website or using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services.
1. Who This Policy Covers
This Policy applies to:
- Visitors browsing kitchenops.tech;
- Restaurant owners and administrators (“Account Holders“) who register a KitchenOps account for their outlet(s); and
- Staff users (managers, cashiers, kitchen staff, etc.) added to an Account Holder’s KitchenOps account by the Account Holder.
Where an Account Holder adds staff or customer data into the Services, the Account Holder acts as the data controller for that information and KitchenOps acts as a data processor providing the platform on their behalf, except where this Policy states otherwise.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
- Account and business information: name, business/outlet name, email address, phone number, business address, outlet type, GSTIN, and login credentials.
- Staff information: names, roles, contact details, and permission levels entered by an Account Holder under Users & Roles.
- Customer (CRM) data: names, phone numbers, order history, and preferences that an Account Holder stores about their own guests.
- Billing and subscription information: plan selected, billing address, and transaction details. Card and payment details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment gateway partners; KitchenOps does not store full card numbers on its servers.
- Communications: information you share when you contact support, book a demo, or fill out a form on the Website.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, modules accessed (POS, KDS, Inventory, etc.), timestamps, and click patterns.
- Device and log data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and referring/exit pages.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication, keeping you logged in, remembering preferences, and understanding how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.
2.3 Information from operational use of the Services
- Transaction and order data: bills, KOTs, order details, table/reservation records, inventory counts, and reports generated as you use the Services.
- Integration data: data exchanged with third-party platforms you choose to connect, such as Zomato, Swiggy, Razorpay, Tally, and WhatsApp for Business, to the extent needed to sync orders, payments, or accounting records.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services (billing, KDS, delivery sync, inventory, reporting, etc.);
- Create and manage your account, and authenticate users and roles;
- Process payments and manage subscriptions;
- Sync orders and data with the third-party integrations you enable;
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates;
- Send you product updates, offers, or marketing communications (you may opt out at any time);
- Monitor, analyze, and improve the performance, security, and features of the Services;
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests from authorities.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Third-party service providers who help us operate the Services, such as cloud hosting providers, payment gateways, SMS/email/WhatsApp communication providers, and analytics tools, under confidentiality obligations.
- Integration partners you choose to connect (e.g., Zomato, Swiggy, Razorpay, Tally), only to the extent required to enable the integration you have activated. Your use of such third-party platforms is also governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
- Legal and regulatory authorities, where required to comply with law, enforce our Terms & Conditions, or protect the rights, property, or safety of KitchenOps, our users, or others.
- Business transfers: if KitchenOps is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality safeguards.
5. Data Storage and Security
KitchenOps is a cloud-based platform. Your data is stored on secure servers using industry-standard safeguards, including access controls, encryption in transit, and firewalls. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account login credentials confidential; activity carried out under your login is treated as authorized by you.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and accounting requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Upon account closure, we may retain certain data for a reasonable period thereafter as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, after which it will be deleted or anonymized.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Subject to applicable law, you may:
- Access, correct, or update your account and business information directly within the Services or by contacting us;
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal and legitimate business retention needs;
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications by using the “unsubscribe” link in emails or contacting us;
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

13. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or relating to this Policy.
